This is a very high quality stainless steel marine antenna for sail or power vessels. It is ideal for masthead mounting due to low weight, stainless construction, UV resistance and resistance to bird strikes. Also suitable for deck level mounting where it will outperform a typical 54 inch fibreglass antenna.

Bandit™ clear silicone self fusing compression tape.

Coaxial cable, bulk: 73m (250’) reels of RG8X marine quality 50 ohm coaxial cable. Braid and stranded centre core are tinned copper contained in a white PVC jacket. RG8X cable provides the best combination of low loss and flexibility, giving good performance over long runs and easy handling.

Connectors:

PL259 soldered connectors provide the connection to the SO239 socket on all marine VHF radios and into the base of the Metz VHF and other high quality antennas. Top quality silver coated brass. Comes with an adapter to suit RG8X cable. Without the adapter fits RG8U and RG213 cable.
